Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities Assistant Expert

Assistant Expert for Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities is one of the Career Professions (Group A) specified by the "General Regulations on Exams to be Assigned to Public Missions for the First Time" published in the Official Gazette dated 3.5.2002 and numbered 24744 within the scope of Law 657. Those who are successful in the written and oral examinations carried out by the Presidency shall be appointed as Assistant Experts of Turks Abroad and Related Communities.

Experts and assistant expert may be sent abroad for internship or research, to increase their professional knowledge and visions, or for post-graduate study, within the framework of the provisions of the Civil Servants Law No. 657

Transition to Specialization: Those appointed as the Assistant Expert of Turks Abroad and Related Communities shall be entitled to take the proficiency examination to be made, provided that they have at least three years at the job, a positive record every year, and a thesis specialist thesis to be prepared in the units and approved by the thesis jury to be settled. Those who are successful in the proficiency examination are appointed as Experts of Turks Abroad and Related Communities.

Contracted Personnel

Without being subject to the provisions of the Law No. 657 and other legislation, local or foreign personnel can be employed by contract. Graduating from the departments of the domestic and foreign universities that will provide at least four years of education for the contracted personnel to be employed, having an experience in the designated areas and obtain points at least at the level of Foreign Language Examination (B) for foreign languages ​​to be determined by the Presidency or providing conditions for having a certificate are sought to be employed. For foreign languages ​​that are not measured by the Foreign Language Examination or exams with equivalent international validity; it is necessary to have attained at least three years of secondary education or associate degree, undergraduate or graduate diploma on the relevant level or to achieve eighty percent of the exam held by the official authorities of the country where the language is spoken as the official language.
