President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), Abdullah Eren, shared a message on social media on the anniversary of the labor agreement signed on April 8, 1965, between Türkiye and France. Eren highlighted that citizens living in France have accomplished significant work in every area of society, stating, "When the calendars showed April 8, 1965, a labor agreement was signed between Türkiye and France. This signature marked the journey of our first-generation elders who set off from the heart of Anatolia, packing their hopes into suitcases. While they laid the foundations of the Turkish community in France, they also built bridges of the heart between the two countries. Now, the new generation of Turks in France contributes significantly to society in many diverse fields, from politics to art, from the economy to sports, and from education to social and cultural life. As YTB, we will continue to stand by our citizens in France," he said.
