We Will Continue to Support Our Citizens

Abdullah Eren, the President of Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), posted statements in Turkish and German on his social media account referring to Turkish young people ,Enes and Onur, who were recently attacked in Vienna, the capital of Austria. Eren noted that as YTB, they will continue to follow the racist attacks closely.

The recent attacks on young Turkish people stirred a great concern amongst citizens of Vienna, the capital of Austria. Anonymous and masked assailants recently attacked 18-year-old Enes Erbaş and 20-year-old with iron rods and knives. We will continue to follow the racist attacks closely.

Eren sent his get well soon message to them and their families while calling on the Austrian authorities to take urgent measures: “I would like to convey my best wishes for speedy recovery to Enes and Onur, who were recently attacked in Vienna. We expect from Austrian authorities to take immediate and effective actions against such anti-Turkish attacks. As YTP, we will continue to follow these unacceptable racist attacks closely and support our citizens.”
